Complementing Dr. Finn’s expertise is Lucas Sandidge. As a former United States Army Officer and possessing over ten years of seasoned experience in the corporate sector, Lucas brings a wealth of business acumen and strategic vision to our venture. His experience in navigating complex projects and his commitment to excellence form the backbone of Freedlight Performance, steering both daily operations and our brand marketing endeavors to propel business expansion.

Meet the founders

  • CO-FOUNDER, CO-CEO

    Dr. Finn attended Veterinary School at the University of Pennsylvania after completing her undergraduate degree at Tufts University. Following veterinary school she pursued an internship at Fairfield Equine Associates in Newtown, CT where she developed her love of equine sports medicine and got her first introduction to a holistic approach to veterinary care.

    Following her internship, she returned to Pennsylvania where she continued working with sport horses and began her schooling in integrative medicine. After 5 years of practice and completion of her certifications she moved to Colorado where she opened her own highly successful and well-respected, integrative veterinary practice.

    Her keen observation of the equine nutritional market and her interactions with clients and fellow veterinarians led her to identify a gap that inspired the creation of Freedlight Performance. As the CO-Founder and CEO, Dr. Finn brings her expertise in veterinary medicine, research, and integrative care to drive the success of this innovative venture alongside her partner, Lucas.

    After graduating from Texas State University, Lucas served in the United States Army for over four years as an Intelligence Officer. Following his military service, Lucas joined Deloitte as a management consultant. During his tenure, he provided strategic guidance to clients while driving growth and innovation.

    Driven by a passion to create lasting impact, Lucas then transitioned into the realm of real estate development, where he spent the next decade honing his business expertise. As a real estate developer, Lucas successfully conceptualized, managed, and executed a diverse portfolio of multifamily projects.

    Now, as the CO-Founder of Freedlight Performance, Lucas brings together his leadership and team building experience, with his entrepreneurial spirit, to lead a dynamic venture with Dr. Finn.
